Types of motorized TV lift cabinets
There are quite a few types of TV lifts and they all have their advantages. This type of bedroom storage includes regular cabinets, Plasma lifts, specialty lifts, ceiling lifts and a TV lift cabinet bed.
Conventional lift system
The first type of lift is known as a conventional lift. The conventional TV lift console is the simplest and one of the most common types. Some are motorized and operate with a motor that moves objects up and down, and are able to both lift and store conventional televisions, as well as safes and computers away from view in the bedroom.
Other kinds can lift objects such as TV's up and down, but they also can swivel a TV screen in order to allow viewers to watch television from different angles or positions in the bedroom.
Plasma lifts
The next type of lift furniture is the Plasma TV lift that is capable of lifting up and down, or swiveling the much heavier, cumbersome Plasma television. Some have a self concealing top for viewers who don't want the cabinet raised above the TV. This pivots and conceals the cabinet top and allows the Plasma to be raised for viewing.
Speciality lifts
Speciality lifts are the third most common type. They allow viewers store their TVs and then have then lifted with a motorized mechanism, just as the other types. However, these also allow the viewer to extend and swivel the TV, as well as store it over niche areas of a bedroom such as over a fireplace, mantle board, or bookshelf.
This is absolutely one of the coolest ways to store a TV in your bedroom. These beds are basically storage beds that are built to fit a flat screen TV at the foot of the bed frame. The motorized system is installed in the frame, and it is housed in a cabinet.
When you want to view your television while in bed, all you have to do is activate the system by remote, and your screen appears at the foot of the bed. When through viewing, you can again hide it from view.
TV lift furniture is both very convent and very innovative, and while can be used in various places in the home, it is most useful in the bedroom area for additional storage and better viewing.
